GhostSuggest provides context-aware AI autocomplete suggestions (“ghost-text”) in text inputs across the web. We collect and process only the minimum data necessary to provide this functionality and enforce plan limits.

Data We Process

• Input text you type: The current input/textarea content is sent to our backend solely to generate a suggestion. This text is processed transiently and is not retained for unrelated purposes.
• License token: A token used to validate Pro status with our licensing provider. This token is stored in chrome.storage.sync.
• Usage count: A daily counter to enforce free-tier limits, stored in chrome.storage.sync.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No names, emails, or contact details
• No payment information (checkout is handled by Whop)
• No browsing history or location data
• No passwords or sensitive authentication secrets

How We Use Data

• Generate context-aware suggestions based on your current input.
• Validate and enforce Free/Pro plan limits.

Sharing and Selling

We do not sell user data. We do not share user data with third parties beyond processing on our backend to generate suggestions and validate licenses.

Security

All AI requests are proxied through our backend; third‑party API keys are never exposed in the extension. Communications are encrypted via HTTPS.

Storage and Retention

License token, plan status, and usage count are stored in chrome.storage.sync. Input text is processed transiently and not retained for unrelated purposes.

Your Choices

• You can uninstall the extension at any time.
• You can clear locally stored data using Chrome’s extension data controls.
